Boxing training?

My gym in one corner of boxing for a while and looks like fun, well … challenging and fun. I have recently begun to come around time, so I would not mind being able to kick someones * ss if descending on him. I entered a couple of local bodybuilding shows armor that some years ago and have been training since then (I'm 24), not at an extreme level (in my mind), but I'm better built than 99% of boys in the gym of my local gold. As to cardio, I usually do 15 minutes HIIT 3 times a week. I do not want to lose my mass / size, so the endless running / cardio is not for me. Come to think, I just want to learn to hit with speed / power right where to hit, and certainly, if a fight that comes my way. I'm sure I can get some of the locals to show me how / technical, but what I make second nature? I'm thinking I'm going to have to Spar at least 3 times a week and working on the speed bag and heavy bag also 3 times a week. Does that sound about right?
